What guarantee is offered on your shade sails?
We offer a one-year warranty on workmanship and materials for our shade sails and a 10 year warranty against ultraviolet (UV) degradation.
How long will my shade sail last?
Our shade sails will last 10 years (and possibly more) provided proper maintenance is performed.
Do I have to take my shade sail down during the winter?
Your shade sail can remain in place all year round, but you can take it down during the winter months if you wish. The sails are relatively easy to take down, but you may need assistance to return your sail to its original position. It is very important that your shade sail is correctly tensioned to ensure maximum performance and life.
Are shade sails waterproof ?
Shade cloth is porous, which means that wind and rainfall filter through it. It is this quality that gives Coolaroo Shade Sails their exceptional cooling abilities beneath the sail.
How much wind can a Shade Sail withstand?
Our residential shade sails are typically designed to withstand winds of 50 knots (92.6 kph or 57.54 mph) provided they are properly installed and tensioned. We recommend taking your shade sail down if extremely windy conditions are expect. Also, it is very important that correct tensions are maintained to protect your shade sail from wind damage. (ie, cyclone, hurricane or typhoon).
What is going to cost for shipping?
Shipping is always free if you use our standard shipping method. That's it, its FREE. If, however, you need it faster we offer 2nd day and 1 day option for a fix fee. See shipping policy for the current rate as they change from time to time due fuel increases.
